EarthQuakes
For those of you who've been living under a rock, I released a record called EarthQuakes to pay homage to my native land of Haiti after the tragic event that took place on Jan. 12 2010. The song is the lead single off the benefit album, "I AM HAITI" (go cop it on iTunes RIGHT NOW!!!). Well, to my surprise, EarthQuakes is now a top 5 record on national college radio. This means we MUST shoot a video. Looked at the way Wyclef went about things. Hated the fact that he released that crap of a song (Hold On) as his official record for the Haiti Earthquake. I mean, come on son. You could've done better. Plus the video? SMH. Therefore, I wrote a treatment, produced my ideas and all that. We searched and searched and searched but could not find anyone worthy of shooting the video the way I imagine in HD. Finally, my research came in handy. We scored Melyssa Vazquez as the director from ShoeBoxStory. I mean, she's freaking amazing. Check out her work: http://www.melyssavazquez.com/melyssa/portfolio.html. I absolutely love her looks and her executions. She can get very creative and that's what I wanted. Immediately, we went to work. Plotted everything down. She found the locations that would be perfect for the video, got her crew involved and all that. So, the shoot is scheduled for May 1st in NYC @ 2PM. I can't wait!!! Everything is in order. I know exactly what I want and the beautiful thing is that she sees my vision. I LOVE that. So, if you wanna be a part of the shoot, get a cameo, or whatever, hit me up. Take your ass to NYC that day and stop by. It's that simple.
